Project Scheduler

Location: New York, NY

Compensation range: $65‑75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, considering all project elements and timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and constraints.
• Utilize scheduling software to create detailed project timelines, incorporating milestones, tasks, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks, proposing solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project timelines.
• Communicate schedule changes, updates, and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Analyze project schedules to optimize resource utilization, minimize downtime, and enhance overall project efficiency.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review schedules, discuss progress, and address any scheduling concerns.
• Prepare and present reports on project schedule performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience within project controls/project scheduling (desired).
• OSHA 30 certification required (can be obtained upon hire if necessary).
• Experience working on complex, high‑value projects in the NYC area.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting MTA projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project‑management tools.
