Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for electrical contracting projects using industry-standard scheduling software.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and provide solutions to keep the project on track.
- Routinely update and adjust schedules based on project changes, ensuring accurate reflection of project status.
- Conduct schedule reviews with project teams and management to communicate project timelines and any potential risks.
- Prepare detailed schedule reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze project schedules to optimize resources and improve efficiency.
- Aid in the coordination of resources, materials, and manpower to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards in all scheduling activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within the construction or electrical contracting industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of P6 experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in scheduling and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
