Project Scheduler
Responsibilities
- Utilize Primavera P6 to develop comprehensive project schedules, considering all project phases from sales and engineering to procurement, production, testing and delivery.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, planning, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Analyze project scope, milestones, and deliverables to create accurate and achievable schedules.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and identify potential scheduling conflicts or risks.
- Conduct regular schedule updates, track progress and communicate any deviations to the project team.
- Implement earned value management techniques, including tracking and analyzing project performance using metrics such as Planned Value, Earned Value and Actual Cost.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum three (3) years of experience in planning/scheduling.
- Must have three (3) years’ experience managing project schedules in an industrial environment throughout a project’s typical life cycle (Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Testing, and Delivery).
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to evaluate project performance, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
- Strong critical thinking skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with project managers, engineers and stakeholders both verbally and in written form.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset to anticipate and address potential issues or changes in project schedules.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in project management software and tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, primarily Word and Excel, is required.
- The ability to organize disparate information into a usable form is required.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions, understand SOPs, and deliver consistent, timely results.
Skills
- Microsoft Excel: expertise in complex formulas and functions, pivot tables, macros.
- Experience with integrating Primavera P6 with other enterprise systems, such as enterprise resource planning software.
- Knowledge of Power BI dashboards.
