Project Scheduler

Birmingham, AL | Hybrid Schedule (Mon-Thu Onsite, Fridays Remote)

About the role

We're looking for a Project Scheduler to join a growing Project Controls team supporting major energy, infrastructure, and construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile capital projects while partnering with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, Cost Engineers, and Construction Leaders to drive successful project delivery. You'll play a critical role in developing schedules, analyzing project performance, identifying risks, and helping teams keep projects on track and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Create post-construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports
• Analyze critical path activities, schedule risks, and project performance
• Support planning, forecasting, resource loading, and cash flow reporting
• Conduct schedule updates through collaboration with project teams and site personnel
• Partner with Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Estimators, and Contractors to align schedule, scope, and budget
• Support project controls initiatives through schedule analysis and reporting
• Utilize tools such as Primavera P6, Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 3+ years of scheduling experience supporting construction, EPC, or industrial projects
• Strong experience with Primavera P6
• Background in Project Controls, Construction Management, or Cost Controls
• Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain complex project schedules
• Energy, Power, Renewables, Industrial, or Infrastructure project experience preferred

Pay

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $62.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Schedule

Hybrid position in Birmingham, AL (Mon-Thu Onsite, Fridays Remote). This is a Contract to Hire position.
