Responsibilities
- Adhere to and promote company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
- Provide technical safety and health support to field and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations
- Identify company safety training needs and coordinate safety training programs
- Participate in new product/process reviews, including process hazard analyses and operator training
- Support field operations personnel in selecting appropriate personal protective equipment
- Promote safety and health awareness through internal communications and training programs
- Participate in corporate safety committee meetings
- Assist in implementing hazard communication programs and preparing associated reports
- Review process-operating procedures/records and provide input for safety considerations
- Monitor federal and state occupational safety and health regulations and advise on regulatory changes
- Audit jobsites to ensure compliance with company programs and federal/state regulations
- Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follow up as necessary
- Travel as required by E2
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
- OSHA 510 certification required
- 2-3 years of experience within the safety field
- Experience with inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, safety training, hazard reviews, and job safety analysis
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety laws

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment with moderate noise levels. The role requires:
- Frequent sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling
- Frequent standing and walking
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Regularly carrying and climbing ladders up to 20 feet
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required
- Potential work in tight and confined spaces
