We're on the hunt for our next full-time visionary Project Pursuit Manager to join our project acquisition and development team. This team member will travel within IN, OH and KY. Role Overview: As our Project Pursuit Manager, you'll be the driving force behind identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value projects. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of project management expertise and strategic acumen. Your ability to blend progressive thinking with practical execution will be crucial in this role. You'll be expected to lead key projects, ensuring a laser-focused approach that aligns with our organizational strategy and translates into actionable plans. You'll be responsible for: Spearheading the identification and pursuit of lucrative projects Orchestrating negotiations to successful closure Crafting and implementing innovative project pursuit strategies The Ideal Candidate: Navigate the complexities of front-end project acquisition with finesse Efficiently assess and establish technical needs and scope requirements Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts Proven track record in project management and business development Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills Strategic mindset with a talent for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Technical mindset with ability to quickly learn our products Essential Functions: Drive planning and approach for curation/development of pursuit projects and resources aligned with current leadership sales strategies Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques Participate in select client sales meetings and proposal writing process Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates Participate in owner contract negotiations Assist with and/or manage design aspects of assigned projects Perform risk management to minimize project risk Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Provide accurate forecasting using available resources and tools Competencies: Customer Focus Willingness to Learn Communication Proficiency Decision-Making Ability Attention to Detail Design Insight Organization Skills Business Acumen Relationship Management Problem Solving/Analysis Collaboration Work Environment and Physical Demands: Standard office setting with computer and phone workstation May require standing, walking, or mobility throughout facility and customer sites Extended periods of sitting at a computer workstation Close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception required Position Type and Travel: Full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Occasional evening and weekend work as required Up to 30% travel Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field or 3-5 years' work experience in a similar field/industry Project Pursuit and project development skills 3+ years of successful experience working with a sales team or rep organization Direct sales experience within a comparable industry Valid Drive License Join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of project acquisition and management.
