Project/Program Manager
Location: St Paul, MN 55155 (Hybrid - 1 to 2 days onsite per week)
Engagement type: Contract - 12 Months

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational strategy into program objectives and outcomes.
• Work with leadership to define program scope, success criteria, and benefits.
• Develop the program roadmaps.
• Assist in developing or managing projects and programs according to a governance structure.
• Cook up dependencies across multiple projects.
• Provide guidance to project managers to ensure consistency in approach and delivery.
• Resolve conflicts between projects over resources, scope, or timelines.
• Provide regular program-level status updates, dashboards, and reports.
• Develop and manage the program budgets, plans and forecasts.
• Identify and manage program-level risks and issues.
• Cook up risk mitigation actions across projects.
• Mentor and coach project managers and other team members.
• Foster collaboration across project teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years in project/program management (depending on complexity of programs managed).
• Proven experience delivering multiple related projects that drive outcomes.
• Experience working with government agencies and leading public sector initiatives.
• Experience aligning projects to business strategy, managing benefits realization, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Record of managing resources and priorities across multiple teams, departments, and sometimes geographic locations.
• Familiarity with PMO processes, governance frameworks, and portfolio management.
• Experience with Agile and Hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience creating and managing large budgets, forecasting, and tracking ROI or benefits.
• Exposure to organizational change management, driving adoption and ensuring business readiness.
• Experience working with the Salesforce platform.
• Proven ability to anticipate, escalate, and resolve complex risks/issues at the program level.
