Responsibilities

• Define specific project and program objectives for areas of responsibility, including preliminary activities such as determining outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning.
• Ensure completion of all assigned projects and programs in accordance with predetermined requirements, focusing on product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
• Document all phases of project, program, and/or process development, and ensure relevant information is reported, disseminated, or transferred to other functional areas as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding engineering/lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
• Manage material and financial resources effectively to maximize productivity for projects/programs.
• Collaborate with other staff to drive productivity and innovation.
• Spearhead research and development of new technologies, ensuring newly created processes, designs, and methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products/services or shared across relevant areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Functional knowledge regarded as the technical expert in your field, with in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in your discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
• Ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues and recommend product, process, or service improvements.
• Leadership skills to manage projects with notable risk and complexity, including developing strategies for project execution.
• Problem-solving skills to address unique and complex problems with broad business impact, requiring conceptual and innovative thinking.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate complex ideas, anticipate objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels.
• Preferred experience in Organizational Effectiveness, Enterprise Program Management, Organizational Change Management, or Strategic Workforce Planning.

Other Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, and lift.
• Ability to distinguish between colors and work in environments with noise that may be challenging for individuals with noise sensitivity.
• Use of hand and power tools, as well as appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields, particularly when working in a clean room.

Pay

Salary range: $128,000 - $176,000 per year. The salary offered will be based on factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Eligibility for participation in bonus and stock award programs may also apply.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Travel required: up to 20% of the time.
