Responsibilities
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of proposal responses, including A3s, for potential clients
- Prepare and maintain bid board/calendar and ensure timely completion of estimates for electric construction projects
- Facilitate document procurement and control
- Prepare pre-qualification statements
- Prepare and maintain bid logs
- Attend departmental meetings as required
- Provide general project support to senior project professionals
- Prepare and submit expense reports as needed
- Perform miscellaneous administrative duties including data entry and file management
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards
- Regular and predictable attendance at a Company-designated office or field location
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively-responsible contracting or construction office experience
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Associates degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or similar discipline (preferred)
Skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Bluebeam, InDesign, and/or relevant technologies
- Working knowledge of E1 functionality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to support multiple project managers/estimators
- Ability to create A3s
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Professional client interactions before and after bid time
- Detail-oriented with good decision-making skills
- Proven ability to work with deadlines
