Responsibilities

  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of proposal responses, including A3s, for potential clients
  • Prepare and maintain bid board/calendar and ensure timely completion of estimates for electric construction projects
  • Facilitate document procurement and control
  • Prepare pre-qualification statements
  • Prepare and maintain bid logs
  • Attend departmental meetings as required
  • Provide general project support to senior project professionals
  • Prepare and submit expense reports as needed
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties including data entry and file management
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively-responsible contracting or construction office experience
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or similar discipline (preferred)

Skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Bluebeam, InDesign, and/or relevant technologies
  • Working knowledge of E1 functionality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to support multiple project managers/estimators
  • Ability to create A3s
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional client interactions before and after bid time
  • Detail-oriented with good decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work with deadlines
