About the role
The Project Planning Coordinator plays a crucial role in the team, assisting Project Managers on large projects. They are expected to have prior experience in the AEC industry and an interest in working in a dynamic global design environment.
Responsibilities
- Aiding the Project Manager in crafting project plans using Deltek Vantagepoint.
- Overseeing and adjusting project plans as needed in response to any issues.
- Contributing to the formulation of project proposals by utilizing project plan data.
- Tracking proposal approvals and updating the project plan accordingly.
- Collaborating with the Project Accountant and Project Manager to manage invoice submission and tracking.
- Maintaining oversight of project expenses within Deltek Vantagepoint and identifying any disparities compared to the planned budget.
- Compiling and distributing project financial reports for the Project Manager and Principals.
Requirements For Success
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint is highly desirable.
- Experience with Power BI is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the AEC industry.
Additional Details
- Travel may be required.
- Overtime may be necessary.
Pay
The projected salary range for this opportunity is $65,177 - $78,212 annually, and may be more or less depending on skills, experience, and education.
