Project/Multimedia Support Specialist

About the role

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Project/Multimedia Support Specialist to join their team onsite in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate MUST be able to travel as this role will involve occasional travel on a needed basis. This role will have a stronger emphasis on AV project work rather than day-to-day support, and the Multimedia support will be a secondary requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage AV installation projects
• Work with building trades
• Read construction drawings
• Coordinate with multiple different teams such as AV vendors, Corporate Real Estate, General Contractors, Electricians, etc.
• Handle meeting room technology design, install, implementation, testing and commissioning

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7+ years of previous multimedia experience
• Project management experience required
• Experience managing AV installation projects
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Strong follow through
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to manage competing expectations
• Must be able to travel on a needed basis
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship

Pay

The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
