Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Form long-term relationships with clients and pursue new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts
  • Provide innovative and sustainable solutions for Clients
  • Lead and mentor staff
  • Support and engage with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering
  • Extensive project management experience for municipal wastewater treatment projects (planning, design, and construction)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of municipal wastewater treatment processes and technologies
  • Multi-discipline design management experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Wisconsin or ability to obtain within 6 months

Preferred qualifications

  • More than 20 years project management experience for municipal wastewater treatment projects (planning, design, and construction)
  • Willingness to work with and mentor younger staff to develop their project management skills
  • Experience with process mechanical design and willingness to perform as the discipline lead role on an as-needed basis
  • Master's Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This position offers a hybrid working policy, allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
