About the role

A US FUSION Project Manager is responsible for managing awarded projects from initiation through closeout, serving as the primary liaison between US FUSION and the Client. This individual is accountable for project execution, cost control, schedule performance, client satisfaction, risk management, and overall project profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from contract award through final closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between US FUSION and the Client
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans
  • Cook up procurement of materials, subcontractors, equipment, and labor resources
  • Support project handoff and pre-construction planning with Operations and Field Supervision
  • Maintain complete project documentation, correspondence, and records
  • Monitor project productivity, schedule performance, quality, and cost
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external project reports
  • Manage change orders, claims, time impacts, and contract administration
  • Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements
  • Facilitate project closeout activities including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final billing
  • Establish and maintain project budgets and cost tracking systems
  • Review labor productivity, equipment utilization, subcontract costs, and material expenditures
  • Prepare monthly cost forecasts and identify financial risks
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure timely invoicing, collections support, and project reporting
  • Take proactive action to protect and improve project profitability
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment across all phases of work
  • Aid in manpower planning and resource allocation across multiple projects
  • Support field teams through active communication, coaching, and problem resolution
  • Maintain strong client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships
  • Participate in lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Uphold the highest standard for safety, quality, and professionalism for employees, co-workers, and Clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in industrial construction
  • Preferred experience managing geosynthetics installation, HDPE fusion, environmental construction, civil construction, industrial maintenance, or related specialty construction projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with scheduling and estimating software is a plus (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD)
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • TWIC Card and OSHA training preferred
