Responsibilities
- Manage multiple water, wastewater, sewer, and underground utility construction projects.
- Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate resources.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations teams.
- Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Maintain strong communication with owners, engineers, municipalities, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to company leadership.
- Support estimating and pre-construction efforts when needed.
- Identify and resolve project risks and challenges proactively.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil, underground utility, water, wastewater, or sewer construction.
- Proven experience managing municipal infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of water mains, sanitary sewer systems, force mains, storm drainage, lift stations, and related underground utility work.
- Experience with forecasting, cost controls, and change order management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- PREFERRED: Experience with large-diameter water transmission mains, sanitary sewer and force main installation, wastewater collection systems, lift stations and pump stations, municipal street, drainage, and utility improvements, design-build and public infrastructure projects.
