About the role
The Task Force for Global Health, established 40 years ago, collaborates with partners worldwide to address diseases like neglected tropical diseases and vaccine safety. The Center for Vaccine Excellence (CVE) focuses on ensuring equitable access to vaccines globally.
Responsibilities
- Directs the planning, development, and operations of a program with the Task Force for Global Health.
- Collaborates with representatives from private, government, and international agencies.
- Plans, executes, and monitors program budgets, including approval of expenditures; prepares annual financial and program reports to external parties with interests in the program.
- Engages in fundraising initiatives on behalf of the program.
- Ensures the program is compliant with federal and international laws and regulations.
- Oversees program communications, including development of communications strategies, production of print and electronic materials, and reputation management.
- Represents the program in various national and international fora, and engages with representatives from other NGOs for research and initiative design.
- May supervise program staff.
- Supports the Center for Vaccine Excellence’s vaccine safety project, Safety Platform for Emergency Vaccines (SPEAC).
- Maintains and updates the master project plan for related reporting processes.
- Manages information and creates monthly progress reports for teleconferences with funders.
- Manages information and creates budget period progress and financial reports.
- Schedules training team meetings and status updates.
- Facilitates logistics and programmatic requirements for meetings with Program Manager, Project Lead, and funders, Executive Board, and scientific work groups.
- Affords editorial review of deliverables to ensure appropriate format, completeness, and quality control.
- Ensures SPEAC content is accurate and up-to-date on the SPEAC and Brighton Collaboration websites.
- Drafts, monitors, and updates contracts.
- Reviews and processes monthly invoices and travel expenses.
- Tracks and monitors proposed changes to project plan, and financial implications.
- Represents the program in various national and international engagements and actively engages with representatives from other NGOs for research and initiative design.
- Liaises with partner organizations and all project-related personnel and affiliates, demonstrating diplomacy and tact.
- Maintains regular collaborative contact with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participates in problem-solving and resolution of operational issues.
- Contributes, assists, and participates in projects, activities, and initiatives as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the specific program as indicated.
- Six years' program-related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Prior experience working on international projects.
Skills
- Proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience in creating and managing project plans.
- Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role may require up to 5% domestic and/or international travel, and is based in Georgia.
