Responsibilities
- Aid in drafting the technical content of letters of intent, general terms agreements, lease agreements, maintenance service agreements, and other legal documents requiring technical input.
- Review all letters of intent, general terms agreements, lease agreements, maintenance service agreements, and other legal documents requiring technical input.
- Provide technical support to the Sales and Trading teams during negotiations, including on-site visits.
- Offer near AOG-level technical support to customers of Willis Lease during negotiations, delivery, and throughout the lease term.
- Assist the Director, Technical Customer Support in negotiating maintenance service agreements and other technical-based external agreements.
- Contribute to the development of training programs to enhance the technical knowledge of the sales and trading teams.
- Attend and report from relevant industry events as directed by the Director, Technical Customer Support.
- Create and implement process improvements to boost productivity within the WLFC Technical Services team.
Qualifications / Requirements
- An EASA certified B1/B2 engineer or a university degree-level engineering applicant with a diploma in law preferred but not essential.
- A strong aptitude for interpreting legal language and a high command of English in conjunction with extensive technical knowledge across various large fan engine types.
- The ability to negotiate with customers and servicers while maintaining a professional demeanor and preserving relationships.
- A technical background with a preference for some legal qualifications.
