Responsibilities

  • Aid in drafting the technical content of letters of intent, general terms agreements, lease agreements, maintenance service agreements, and other legal documents requiring technical input.
  • Review all letters of intent, general terms agreements, lease agreements, maintenance service agreements, and other legal documents requiring technical input.
  • Offer technical support to the Sales and Trading teams during negotiations, including on-site visits.
  • Provide near AOG-level technical support to customers of Willis Lease during negotiations, delivery, and throughout the lease term.
  • Assist the Director, Technical Customer Support in negotiating maintenance service agreements and other technical-based external agreements.
  • Contribute to the development of training programs aimed at enhancing the technical knowledge of the sales and trading teams.
  • Attend and report on relevant industry events as directed by the Director, Technical Customer Support.
  • Create and implement process improvements to enhance productivity within the WLFC Technical Services team.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • An EASA certified B1/B2 engineer or a university degree-level engineering applicant with a preference for a diploma in law.
  • A strong aptitude for interpreting legal language and a proficient command of English combined with extensive technical knowledge across various large fan engine types.
  • The capability to negotiate effectively with customers and servicers while maintaining a professional demeanor and preserving relationships.
  • A technical background with a preference for legal qualifications.
