About the role
We are adding a Project Manager Tech Services to join our growing Technical Services team in Tampa, FL. McKinstry has a unique perspective on the life of a building, and our Technical Services suite of owner-direct offerings assists clients in making the best decisions to improve the efficiency, comfort, sustainability, and lifespan of their building. The WW Technical Services team provides technical and strategic consulting services to make every building we touch more efficient.
In this role, you will manage and grow a highly technical, client-facing delivery team within our technical services group. This is an opportunity to bring your creativity, innovation, and drive for organizational impact as we align individuals within this team to deliver high-impact consulting and drive the evolution of our energy management services under your leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the alignment of our offering and delivery teams as they evolve.
- Collaborate with local and enterprise-wide stakeholders to set and deliver vision.
- Develop tactical resource plans for your team, including equipment requirements, milestones, and project delivery.
- Play an integral role in project budgeting, scoping, and savings strategies to maximize client impact while reducing risk.
- Ensure effective project delivery by your team, optimizing the built environment for Active Energy Management, MBCx, performance audits, and analysis offerings.
- Analyze project financials and assist with client interactions.
- Review and improve processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, Environmental Science, or Energy degree or equivalent work experience in the built environment.
- Prior people management experience is required.
- Understanding of building efficiency, basic design principles, and standards.
- Understanding of data analytics in the built environment.
- Ability to analyze utility data.
- Knowledge of building HVAC mechanical systems, BAS systems, and energy analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license.
- BCxA CCP, ACG CxA, ASHRAE BCxP certification.
- CEM certification.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $76,320 - $116,090 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
