Project Manager role focused on ITS, signing, signalization, and lighting projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foremen, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of projects.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
- Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors.
- Make operational changes as necessary to meet construction deadlines.
- Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.
- Collect data and develop as-builts for projects.
- Oversee safety operations of working crews.
- Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking.
- Access and implement safe work practices.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Represent Traffic Control Devices at meetings with project stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to read and interpret FDOT design construction standards, drawings, and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization, and lighting projects.
- Familiar with all construction operations including installation, testing, integration, full operation, and acceptance of projects.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an active medical card.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and Adobe PDF exchange.
Qualifications
- Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related area or equivalent experience.
- Business experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a supervision role or higher.
