Project Manager - TCD

Project Manager role focused on ITS, signing, signalization, and lighting projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foremen, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of projects.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors.
• Make operational changes as necessary to meet construction deadlines.
• Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.
• Collect data and develop as-builts for projects.
• Oversee safety operations of working crews.
• Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking.
• Access and implement safe work practices.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Represent Traffic Control Devices at meetings with project stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read and interpret FDOT design construction standards, drawings, and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization, and lighting projects.
• Familiar with all construction operations including installation, testing, integration, full operation, and acceptance of projects.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an active medical card.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and Adobe PDF exchange.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related area or equivalent experience.
• Business experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a supervision role or higher.
