Project Manager - Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Embed in the Engineering NPI teams to understand project scope, supply base, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering NPI Program Manager to develop project schedules, factoring in design, quoting, supplier manufacturing, build events, and required resources.
• Act as liaison between Engineering and Supply Management team (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement) to drive supplier activities, including quoting, placing POs, revising POs, and tracking deliverables.
• Create product-specific cost models with input from Supply Management team (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement).
• Support transition and production-level ramp-up for large-scale transfer projects such as second sourcing, insourcing, or outsourcing.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Engineering NPI Program Manager and Planning to enter Engineering BOMs into the MRP system, create and manage tracking reports, run regular project meetings, and create mitigation plans for delivery impacts from suppliers.
• Engage with operations teams and suppliers to ensure material and capacity readiness for NPI products, and ensure proper plans are in place for logistics, build events, and shipment.

Requirements/Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Program Management, Engineering, Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management and program management.
• Excellent project and program management experience.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with engineering teams, especially those interacting with technical products and a range of materials.
• Ability to work in a schedule-driven environment where timing and urgency are critical.
• Outstanding communication and analytical skills.
• Experience managing shifting priorities and changing deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience with MRP systems is desirable.
• Experience working with suppliers is preferred but not required.

Pay Range

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $65,000-$165,000. Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
