Project Manager/ Sr Project Manager

Boardwalk is a limited partnership operating in the midstream portion of the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry, providing transportation and storage services for our customers. Our 14,000 miles of pipeline and storage assets provide diverse market connectivity to producers and end-users who need reliable sources of natural gas for power generation, home heating or petrochemical feedstocks.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager/ Sr Project Manager for our Houston, TX office. As a Facilities Project Manager, the position will be responsible for the planning and execution of midstream pipeline facility projects from the estimating and regulatory filing phase, through engineering, construction, and commissioning of the project.
Responsibilities
The individual will be expected to work with various teams internal and external personnel to execute the project within specified budget and schedule constraints including monthly cost and schedule forecasting updates within the company.
They must also be able to provide oversight of key functions including right-of-way acquisition, construction management, and contract conformance and be able to accurately report progress and concerns during regular project updates.
Requirements
- 5 years of engineering experience in relevant industries
- Experience with development or review of facility P&IDs
- Good organization, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, contractors, agency personnel, and the public
- Ability to travel for a period of 3-5 days for project related activities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- 0-3 years of Project Management experience at an midstream operating company
- 0-5 years of engineering experience
- Contract execution and conformance experience
- Experience preparing and managing project scopes, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and contracts
- Experience with the design and planning of natural gas or pipeline liquids related facilities and equipment
- Experience with FERC and PHMSA or other federal permitting processes
- Experience managing environmental permitting for linear infrastructure under NEPA, USACE, USFWS, and state agencies
- Experience with public relations and ability to represent the company in public meetings, landowner discussions, and agency consultations
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
Preferred Education: PE, PMP
