Project Manager - Small On-Site
About the role
You will independently manage multiple small to mid-size EPC projects simultaneously. Supports new plant proposals as required. Recognizes problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent. Evaluates alternatives and finds solutions using a systematic approach, develops improvements and innovations to enhance project performance. Knows how to leverage the organization to achieve objectives, strategically positions projects for short and long-term goals. Proactively engages present and future stakeholders in design, priority setting, and implementation. Analyzes risk and future impact of decisions. Monitors entire project execution life cycle for compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations. Coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects and ensures that objectives are met and within budget. Organizes, plans, and prioritizes work of project team and self. Performs project engineering work as needed. Interacts with contractors during field installation. Interfaces with key stakeholders including business, operations, and customers. Responsible for managing safety and quality programs related to projects. Prepares detailed project plans and controls elements of the plan. Influences team members and promotes ideas to improve design practices.

Requirements
You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline. 5 or more years of experience in engineering or project management. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Experience in Field Construction Management is a plus. Understanding of construction contracting and contracts management. Understanding of construction and commissioning safety. Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning or start-up of oxygen and nitrogen gas plants is a plus. PMP certification is a plus.

Skills
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Must have 5 or more years of experience in engineering or project management. Must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Must have experience in Field Construction Management. Must have understanding of construction contracting and contracts management. Must have understanding of construction and commissioning safety. Must have experience in engineering, construction, commissioning or start-up of oxygen and nitrogen gas plants. Must have PMP certification.

Pay
Pay Range: $100,000 USD – $125,000 USD
