About the Role
Join the Mining Team, based out of any of our US offices. You will prepare proposals for projects for geotechnical services, including cost estimates and timelines; oversee the development of design concepts by Designers; verify Designer’s work quality; apply EXP’s risk management practices; manage work plans and deliverables; execute complex electrical designs; contribute to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications; evaluate Value Engineering items; develop electrical one-lines, load lists, area classifications, etc.; participate in HAZOP, PHA, safety reviews.
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals for projects for geotechnical services for engineering projects that include cost estimates and timelines
- Oversee the development of design concepts by Designers
- Verify Designer’s work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings
- Apply EXP’s risk management practices of electrical engineering
- Execute complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination
- Perform front-end loading of Electrical systems for projects
- Contribute to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications
- Evaluate Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk
- Edit and develop the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope
- Develop electrical one-lines, load lists, area classifications, etc.
- Participate in HAZOP, PHA, safety reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited University
- Registered PE Required
- 10 plus years of experience in the mining or industrial industry
- Business development experienced required

Pay
The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
