Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a dynamic group of technical professionals – engineers and technical support.
- Engage in the proposal and client agreement development and execution.
- Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
- Coordinate project tasks, budgets and schedules to respect client timelines.
- Support the professional development of each project team member.
- Develop and maintain company design and production standards.
- Seek guidance from other leaders and be open to suggestions.
- Participate in community activities and professional associations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Florida.
- Minimum 5 years of land development design experience (commercial, residential, industrial).
- Experience managing teams and clients for the completion of land development design projects.
- Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices.
- Ability to coach and learn from leadership team.
- Willingness to identify and develop new client partnerships.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
