Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand their Residential Land Development practice in Richmond, Virginia!
Responsibilities
- Leading a Residential Land Development team
- Building and managing relationships with key clients
- Operating with integrity and sound business principles
- Providing vision, business planning, and strategy
- Establishing goals
- Growing and leading a land development practice
- Managing and directing residential land development projects profitably
- Transitioning work to qualified staff
- Growing and mentoring staff
- Acting as a positive leader and mentor
- Given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business

Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing residential land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or PLA preferred
- Demonstrated experience in entitlements and permit processing in local jurisdictions
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Able to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage residential land development projects profitably
