About the role
Oversee the successful delivery of complex construction projects in the Raleigh market, managing budgets, schedules, teams, and client relationships from start to finish. Lead multiple projects valued at $15M+ while mentoring project team members and contributing to a highly respected regional builder's continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects valued at $15M+.
- Manage up to two projects simultaneously while maintaining budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
- Supervise and mentor project team members, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Drive project schedules, procurement activities, cost management, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Oversee contract administration, change orders, and project financial reporting.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and project partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with operations leadership to align project execution with company goals and standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing construction projects valued at $15M or greater.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control.
- Ability to lead multiple projects and manage project teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh, NC area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare construction experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading healthcare, institutional, or other technically complex projects.
- Previous experience managing Assistant Project Managers or Project Engineers.
