Project Manager / Preconstruction

A full-service site preparation construction company, specializing in site utility construction and earthwork services, is seeking a Project Manager / Preconstruction professional. Headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, the company operates throughout the Greater St. Louis area. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of site development projects
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Oversee the installation of underground "wet" utilities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and client specifications
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively and efficiently
• Mentor and help to develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Actively and effectively communicate with the entire team – from the office to the field – to ensure overall project success
• Drive innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Attend industry meetings, events, and professional training courses

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on site development
• Strongly preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects involving underground utilities and earthwork services
• Preferred experience in preconstruction/estimating to support a comprehensive approach to the project lifecycle
• A passion for, and commitment to, continuous learning and professional development

Pay

$90,000 - $120,000 per year
