About the role
We're seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of construction projects that support high-quality healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Create and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
- Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with architects, construction firms, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Direct and coordinate construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying key milestones, risks, and potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare construction requirements and safety standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating communication among hospital leadership, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Capture and document lessons learned from project execution to improve future projects.
- Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities to ensure a seamless transition to occupancy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
- Experience managing construction projects within hospital or healthcare facility environments required. 2–3 years of experience preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, building codes, and construction safety standards.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project leadership skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and risk-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
