As the operational lead for creative packaging initiatives, you will drive the creative workflow from concept through final artwork delivery, ensuring alignment across cross-functional partners—Marketing, Innovation, and Packaging Engineering—while hitting specific creative milestones. You will support two creative designers and traffic concepts/artwork to maintain project momentum.

Responsibilities

  • Creative & Artwork Project Management
    • Manage and monitor end-to-end project timelines for all creative packaging concepts and final artwork initiatives.
    • Own the overall creative timeline, balancing project deadlines and resourcing; build comprehensive project plans.
    • Integrate multiple project timelines into a single cohesive resourcing plan.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on creative deliverables and workstream dependencies.
    • Run weekly packaging design check-ins to track deliverables, drive alignment, surface risks, and manage competing deadlines.
    • Conduct daily design stand-ups with the Packaging Design team to clarify priorities.
  • Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
    • Act as the central operational partner between creative, brand marketing, product development, packaging engineering, and operations teams.
    • Partner with the Campaign Ops lead to integrate packaging timelines into the overall go-to-market (GTM) timeline.
    • Lead collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring accountability and clear communication.
  • Process & Workflow Excellence
    • Champion operational best practices using Asana and shared project tools.
    • Support the Creative Packaging Design team in day-to-day resourcing for packaging and miscellaneous projects.
    • Drive planning consistency across the organization.
    • Maintain overarching calendars, workback trackers, and meeting cadence documents with the Creative and Packaging teams.
    • Ensure accountability through clear task ownership and deadline transparency.
  • Issue & Risk Management
    • Identify timeline risks and blockers early; escalate issues with proposed solutions.
    • Proactively monitor cross-functional dependencies and their impact on delivery.
    • Track shifting timelines and communicate impacts clearly.
    • Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to Marketing leadership.
  • Miscellaneous Creative Projects
    • Project-manage ad hoc creative projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of experience specifically in Creative Operations or Creative Project Management, with a focus on packaging.
  • High proficiency in Asana is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive innovative thinking and course-correct projects when roadblocks arise.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional partnership-building skills; ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels and functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with thorough, effective follow-through on all project milestones.

We encourage applications from candidates who may not meet every requirement but feel connected to our mission and values. We prioritize authenticity, accountability, and a willingness to learn and grow with us.

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation
    • Annual base pay: $100,000 - $115,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus.
