Blockskye · United States · Yesterday
RemoteRemoteProject ManagementFull-time

Primary Responsibilities

  • Platform Testing & Validation
    • Execute end-to-end scenario testing for corporate travel bookings
    • Validate platform functionality against real-world disruptions, complex routing, exchanges, and edge cases
    • Design and run structured test cases for KAYAK and connected systems — smartflows, automation logic, and AI-assisted features
    • Coordinate timing with tech teams before changes reach the floor
    • Own go/no-go validation for platform changes and new feature releases
    • Log outcomes, track defects to resolution, and surface delivery risk before it becomes one
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Issue Resolution
    • Work side-by-side with Deloitte, tech, operations, and external vendors to lead projects and quickly resolve issues
    • Serve as the operations-side contact to KAYAK for change requests and platform behavior affecting service delivery
    • Log platform issues, rank by operational impact, and drive them to resolution or a clear escalation decision — not just to the next status meeting
    • Collaborate fluidly across team lines without needing a formal project structure
  • GDS Execution, Technology & Documentation
    • Execute GDS workflows hands-on with strong proficiency in Amadeus native commands, queue management, and complex ticketing and exchange scenarios
    • Champion adoption of new technologies and tools, translating next-generation features into actionable testing criteria and support documentation
    • Demonstrate tools for agents and operations staff directly
    • Maintain meticulous organization of processes, workflows, and documentation — test logs, issue trackers, and handoff notes anyone can pick up without a walkthrough
    • Provide direct operational support to the Director with minimal oversight

    Requirements

    • 5+ years in corporate travel operations, GDS-based ticketing, or travel technology support — ideally in a TMC environment
    • Hands-on GDS experience with a strong preference for Amadeus native commands, queue management, and ticketing workflows
    • Demonstrated experience in project management, product testing or QA for corporate travel technology, including smartflows, Compleat, and emerging AI technologies
    • Deep understanding of both online and offline corporate travel operations: manual queue management, ticketing rules, and complex itinerary modifications
    • Natural team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset; strong organizational skills, clear communication that leads with operational impact, and comfort demonstrating new tools and AI-assisted features
