Project Manager, Operations

About the role

RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions, using cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the industry. The role offers a competitive salary range of $67,000 to $80,000, with potential for bonus or commission pay based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage cohesive project programs and plans with critical paths, task dependencies, risk/issue mitigation processes, and major milestones
• Work cross-functionally with business process owners to identify and scope areas of opportunity
• Scop, manage, and implement projects to meet business needs
• Lead project execution for both internal departments and external clients, offering direction and guidance to the project team and communicating project requirements to stakeholders
• Build strong relationships and collaborations with senior leadership to support company goals
• Develop customer presentations illustrating solution components and value propositions
• Support other project managers and project team members as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or equivalent related work or military experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics, transportation, and/or warehousing
• Experience with Carrier Procurement, Load Planning & Execution, Freight Audit and Payment, or Transportation Analysis
• Project and/or Program management experience and willingness to obtain or maintain the Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Transportation Management software
• Leverage Lean or Six Sigma experience or Value Stream Mapping

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
