About the role

The Project Manager-Enterprise plays a crucial role in managing projects within the medical management department. This role involves initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing project activities, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supports leadership team in achieving operational and financial objectives.
  • Responsible for project planning, including setting goals, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Affirms compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
  • Develops and maintains project scope/charter, schedules, and communicates updates.
  • Manages project risks and issues, implements change control processes, and ensures project success.
  • Coordinates with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Maintains project documentation and reports progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory guidelines and quality improvement objectives.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field, with three years of health care project management or related experience. Alternatively, two years of healthcare credentialing, provider relations, or medical staff services experience may be considered.

Qualifications

  • Core duties include assisting leadership, developing project scopes, managing project schedules, and communicating project status.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment, handle confidential information, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Physical demands include the ability to work under stress and maintain confidentiality.
