What You’ll Do
- Manages resources for NERC Compliance scopes.
- Reviews Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the NERC Compliance scope, appropriate scope/fee for NERC Compliance deliverables for the proposal.
- Manages resourcing for NERC Compliance deliverables.
- Sets up and leads kick-off meetings for NERC Compliance scope with internal technical resources.
- Sets up and leads regular meetings with external clients to manage NERC Compliance scope.
- Led transition from project design deliverables to NERC Compliance deliverables.
- Attends internal and external project calls to support technical discussions.
- Sets up a schedule for NERC Compliance deliverables, continues to communicate and update with customer and internal resources.
- Sets up an initial Request for Information (RFI) and ensures that technical resources are updating accordingly and continues to manage them with the client as well as internal resources.
- Ensures that internal resources are staying on schedule and that clients are providing information on time so deadlines can be met.
- Attends potential customer meetings and speaks to NERC Compliance services that Ulteig offers.
- Tracks comments received from customers and responses from internal resources.
- Tracks evolving NERC Compliance standards and advises on how it affects Ulteig deliverables and clients’ projects.
- Ensures that the Quality Check process is followed and that proper PE reviews are conducted.
- Drove proactive conversations about change orders, budgets, and project delays, etc.
What We Expect From You
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent.
- Some exposure/knowledge of power system modeling tools (PSSE, PSCAD, PSLF), substation protection, and renewables (plus).
- Analytical, self-motivated, and able to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude.
- Strong industry knowledge.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and external clients.
- High level of initiative and demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and highly responsive, internally and externally.
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
- Displays a high level of initiative and explores new opportunities while understanding the risk to the organization.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and additional software knowledge depending on specialty.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
