About the Role

The Project Manager leads Presidio’s highly skilled engineers to deliver a variety of technology projects for our customers. As a member of the Program and Project Management (PPM) Services group, you will be responsible for successfully managing project outcomes, client interaction and expectations, budgets and billing, and all relevant project artifacts, including detailed project plans. Project Managers will be assigned multiple projects of varying size and scope, following industry-leading project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects of varying size, scope, and duration
• Establish strong client relations and manage interaction and expectations throughout the life of the project
• Create detailed project plans, status reports, and manage issues, risks, and actions
• Manage communication, scope, and mitigate risk across projects
• Manage project budget and billing
• Partner across functional teams to deliver the best possible solution for a client
• Lead client-facing meetings regularly during key phases of the project
• Continually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Serve as the escalation point for the customer, delivery, and other associated Presidio teams and vendor partners
• Support the service group through involvement in process improvement activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 3-5 years’ experience as a hands-on Project Manager managing technical network infrastructure implementation projects and having customer-facing experiences or equivalent experience in an IT organization
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and successfully drive projects to meet defined budgets and timelines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing project financials and scheduling internal resources
• Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Project
• PMP knowledge (certification preferred)
• ITIL knowledge (certification preferred)
