About the role
Leads, directs, and coordinates the overall management of assigned projects. The goal is to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and with high quality, while fostering client relationships and enhancing the company’s reputation.
Project locations: Tulsa, OK or Harlingen, TX (on-site with required travel).
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality completion of projects on time and within budget.
- Perform qualitative reviews of contract documents to identify potential conflicts or interpretation issues, mitigating risk.
- Review design documents for compliance with specifications and contracts, subcontract documents for scope completeness, and project plans, scopes, submittals, and shop drawings for specification compliance and constructability.
- Ensure proper document control and record keeping; submit close-out documents, including as-built drawings.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to facilitate the construction process and coordinate staff activities to meet project goals for budget, schedule, safety, and quality.
- Create, maintain, and monitor a detailed master project schedule, incorporating actual task start and finish dates, and provide timely reports to assess contract compliance, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Lead or participate in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including site investigation and preliminary design.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with appropriate experience successfully managing construction projects for a general contractor from conception to completion. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Design-build experience on relevant project types.
