Responsibilities
- Build strong professional networks, engage confidently with clients, regulators, and the public, and deliver high-quality technical work that drives projects forward.
- Lead coastal environmental efforts ranging from wetland restoration and living shorelines to sea level rise adaptation, sediment management, and regional planning.
- Guide a coastal team through a diverse portfolio of private and governmental projects.
- Expand markets through strategic client and partner relationships.
- Leverage Salesforce to support business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering, Coastal Resiliency, Coastal Processes, Oceanography or related field.
- 10-15 years of maritime and coastal experience including that in a consulting environment.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Business development experience preferred.
- Able and willing to travel as needed.

- Health, Safety, and Environment: Monitor and review performance against health, safety, and environment (HSE) key performance indicators (KPIs) and patterns of behavior within the area of responsibility. Take action to improve performance and to resolve noncompliance with the organization's HSE policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be": Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.

$100,000-$188,000 based on experience & location
