Project Manager – Level 2 – Electric Utility Projects

About the role

Contract position (one year or longer) for a Project Manager – Level 2 focused on electric utility projects in Hartford, CT. Onsite work; local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage electric utility projects from planning and engineering through construction and closeout
• Lead projects involving overhead lines, substations, and underground utility infrastructure
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, including outage scheduling with utility operations
• Manage contractor performance, project teams, consultants, vendors, and stakeholder communication

Requirements

• 10–15 years of relevant project experience
• Minimum 3 years managing major engineering, procurement, and/or construction activities
• Demonstrated experience with electric transmission, substation, distribution, or underground utility projects
• Strong project scheduling and budget-management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline preferred

Pay

Up to $70/hour
