Project Manager, Land Development

Due to continued growth and expansion, RK&K is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Development Project Manager to join our team and support our Richmond, VA office. In this leadership role, you will manage land and site development projects of varying sizes throughout the Richmond metropolitan area and Central Virginia, while providing leadership and direction to project teams. For qualified candidates, this position is eligible for relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus. In addition, employees are eligible to participate in RK&K’s annual bonus program based on individual and company performance. Essential Functions Provide project management of project and/or major task assignments including preparation and monitoring of scope, budget and scheduleCoordinate with clients to discuss progress and obtain feedback and directionPerform engineering tasks; provide engineering direction to staffOrganize project teams, direct project staff and sub consultantsReview and certify engineering documents to meet quality control goals and standards of careLead community outreach tasksServes as primary or secondary liaison with clientFacilitate internal and client meetings, presentations and approval of plans Required Skills And Experience Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering requiredProfessional Engineering registration required: (Preferred VA PE or ability to obtain one)Involvement in industry and networking groups preferredMinimum of eight (8) (10 years preferred) of progressive site (land) development design and engineering experience in the public and private sectorsExperience managing staff and regularly interacting with clientsExperience preparing proposals & add services for changes in scope of workExpert knowledge of permit processes in authorities having jurisdictionKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint; Expertise in AutoCAD C3DExperience with AutoDesk Hydraflow, HydroCAD, Storm & Sanitary Analysis preferred Other Duties This job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under ADA).
