About the role

Oversee and manage construction projects within the interiors sector, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results in Detroit.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize interior construction projects within specified deadlines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and change orders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum and quality standards.
  • Manage commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgets, schedules, subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and client communication.

Requirements

  • Experience managing construction projects, particularly in the interiors sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and building codes.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Strong experience with interior build-outs, finishes, MEP coordination, millwork, and managing multiple trades while maintaining schedule, quality, and profitability.
