Project Manager - Indoor Air Quality
About the role
EnviroVantage, Inc., an industry-leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor founded in 1985, seeks to expand its team. We serve projects nationwide and in the Caribbean, known for our expertise in hazardous materials handling and demolition for government, commercial, and industrial clients.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion
- Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules
- Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out
- Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize, and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials, and disposal on their jobs
- Maintain oversight of production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule
- Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs
- Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects
- Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancies or issues on the job site
- Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors
- Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction with estimating and finance
- Ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager in the construction, indoor air quality, or environmental remediation fields
- Experience managing federal government contracts preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a federal government background screen
Qualifications
- OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
Skills
Strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management software are also beneficial.
