Air Quality - Project Manager
About the role
As an Air Quality Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Cincinnati, OH office, you will evaluate and present information regarding emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications and regulatory compliance reports. Assisting clients with sustainability reporting and achieving Environmental, Social, Governance goals are also important priorities for this role.
Responsibilities
Performing engineering calculations
Compiling permit application documents
Preparing compliance reports
Meting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information
Communicating with regulatory personnel
Evaluating control technologies and emission reduction options for client facilities
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields
8+ years consulting, compliance, or industry experience
Experience with emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports
Experience in Project Management of air quality permitting and compliance projects is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Knowledge of New Source Review procedures
Experience with Best Available Control Technology analyses
Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, and power industries
Familiarity with ProMax Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD
