Project Manager - Air Quality

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager - Air Quality to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will oversee air quality consulting projects with a focus on regulatory compliance, permitting, and technical execution for a diverse client base. The position partners closely with consultants and clients to manage timelines, budgets, quality control, and project administration. It also supports key technical work including emissions calculations, dispersion modeling, and applicability assessments that help guide compliant outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually Responsibilities Conduct new source review and permitting processes. Perform regulatory air dispersion modeling using EPA models. Develop emission calculations and inventories. Assess best available control technology (BACT). Analyze regulatory applicability across various levels. Manage a team of consultants and oversee project administration. Ensure quality control of work and maintain client relationships. Qualifications B.S. or higher in engineering or a related scientific field. 5-7 years of air quality consulting experience. Project management experience preferred, with a focus on timelines and budgets. Proficiency in MS Office and time/expense tracking software. Familiarity with air quality modeling tools such as AERMOD and SCREEN3. Strong understanding of engineering concepts and emissions control technologies.
