Air Quality Project Manager
About the role
As an Air Quality Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our St. Charles, MO office, you will evaluate and present information regarding emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications and regulatory compliance reports. Assist clients with sustainability reporting and achieving Environmental, Social, Governance is also an important priority for this role.
Responsibilities
- Performing engineering calculations
- Compiling permit application documents
- Preparing compliance reports
- Making presentations to clients to obtain and understand project information
- Communicating with regulatory personnel
- Evaluating control technologies and emission reduction options for client facilities
- Managing, scheduling, and budgeting of projects including proposal and report writing
- Mentoring and technical training of junior to experienced scientists and engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields
- Experience with emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports
- Experience in project management of air quality permitting and compliance projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 7+ years consulting, compliance, industry or related experience
- Knowledge of USEPA air quality regulations
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
Preferred requirements
- Demonstrated experience with dispersion modeling using AERMOD
- Demonstrated experience with MACT/BACT/LAER; and/or Tier II, Form R, Hazardous waste regulatory and/or reporting

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
