Main Responsibilities
- Product Line Strategy: Ensure Bioscience continues to lead its segment with new product and service offerings.
- Manage the complete life cycle and value chain of the assigned product portfolio.
- Drive the innovation strategy for the portfolio assigned, execute required customer intelligence, and provide leadership for new product development programs.
- Own and manage the product pricing strategy.
- Identify new areas for customer and business value, including improved products and services, improved margins, and new technology and IP offerings.
- Develop and implement pricing, positioning, and channel strategies for various global regions and market segments.
Sales and Operations Planning and Performance Insights
- Drive the forecasting process to link sales forecasts with production quantities.
- Maintain performance of the product portfolio to meet revenue, volume, and margin targets.
- Monitor product line performance at the customer level to understand trends and identify new challenges and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports to business leadership.
Marketing Planning
- Support the development of comprehensive Marketing plans for the assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate with the marketing management team to generate marketing and PR content.
Product Sales & Support
- Generate technical awareness in appropriate departments to handle routine customer concerns.
- Respond to non-routine technical, business, and regulatory questions.
- Support the sales and service teams through customer visits and regular communication.
- Drive training of service and sales representatives on technical and regulatory aspects.
Safety/Compliance
- Manage safety, FDA, ISO 9001:2015, and other regulatory requirements of the associated production sites and legal entities.
- Participate in Deviation Review Board Meetings.
- Support Change Control and Corrective and Preventive Actions driven by Quality.
- Work with sales and marketing for customer communication and positioning.
