The Project Manager III position at Hunter Roberts Construction Group in RIVERHEAD, NY is responsible for managing projects within the healthcare construction sector. Responsibilities
- Reads and understands Site Safety and logistics plans.
- Begins to learn and manage permitting and violation processes.
- Understands various insurance requirements based as needed.
- Understands QA/QC requirements specially for assigned trades.
- Understands purchasing process and how to prioritize.
- Reviews shop drawings vs contract drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Reviews 3rd party equipment drawings to ensure they coordinate with contract drawings.
- Reads and understands project schedule.
- Fully understands PCI's up to and including impact on budget and budget report.
- Understands monthly financial reporting.
- Understands ICRA standards for healthcare construction.
- Begins to understand MEP systems.
- Manages at least 6 specialty partners depending on size.
- Leads weekly specialty partner meetings.
- Promotes IIF Culture by working with the team.
- Identifies and works with the superintendent to address any field-related issues.
- Reads, reviews, and escalates any potential concerns or questions to the Project Manager.
- Able to discuss safety concerns with workers.
- Performs quality and consistent safety inspections.
- Confident to stop work if necessary and knows who to escalate to for assistance.
- Attends, presents, and leads discussions on scopes of work under their management to both internal and external partners.
- Takes, organizes, and distributes clear meeting minutes.
- Manages, understands, prioritizes, and communicates the submittal schedule including accuracy with ROJ dates.
- Manages, understands, prioritizes, communicates, and questions RFI's.
- Manages change order process.
- Responsible for close out process for assigned trades including ability to close NCR's and inspections.
- Exhibits leadership skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work with a team.
- Able to communicate and interact with internal project team and external specialty partners.
- Able to communicate with hospital staff when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of healthcare construction experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- SST card required.
- Attend and retain knowledge from all assigned trainings.
Skills

Benefits
Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000.
