Project Manager II - Research & Development
Project Management$113k–$142k/yrFull-time
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desired, but not required)
- Experience managing NASA, NSF, and/or other federal agency-funded R&D projects strongly desired (duplicate of above, but we keep)
But we already have that in KSAs; maybe better to keep Preferred Qualifications separate: includes PMP certification and maybe other items? The posting says: "Desired, but not required: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification". Also under Preferred Qualifications heading: "Hiring Salary Range: $113,470 - $141,840". Actually that's under Preferred Qualifications heading? Let's review: In the text:
"Preferred Qualifications Hiring Salary Range: $113,470 - $141,840 Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, and skills relevant to the role.* Application Requirements Cover Letter, Questionnaire, Resume/CV ..."
So the Preferred Qualifications section includes the hiring salary range? Actually the heading "Preferred Qualifications" then immediately "Hiring Salary Range: $113,470 - $141,840". That seems odd; maybe it's a misplacement. But we need to preserve all substantive info. We'll treat the salary range under Pay section, not Preferred Qualifications. Preferred Qualifications may just be the PMP certification line. We'll include that.
