About the role
As a Project Manager II or III on our Electrical Construction team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating designated project activities to ensure successful execution within established timeframes and budgets. This role involves managing day-to-day project operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting successful outcomes by performing key tasks independently or through guidance of subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to expand business and support client satisfaction
- Support the proposal and estimating process, including preparing project estimates and budgets using Accubid software; assist in the development and submission of formal proposals
- Collaborate with supervisory leadership to review project scope, determine timelines, staffing needs, and allocate resources across project phases
- Promote and enforce jobsite safety by ensuring adherence to company policies and industry best practices
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation within the Project Management Software, including estimate logs, labor tracking, change orders, RFIs, transmittals, daily journals, and monthly financial reports
- Update schedules of values and collaborate with the Project Assistant to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Prepare and review submittals and shop drawings; in design-build settings, ensure drawing accuracy and provide field teams with approved documentation
- Lead the change order process by preparing and pricing modifications, securing approval, and maintaining accurate records using Accubid estimating tools
- Maintain daily communication with the General Contractor to support coordination and alignment across project teams
- Attend project and stakeholder meetings as required to represent project progress and address issues
- Ensure compliance with all permitting requirements, coordinating as necessary with regulatory bodies
- Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance
- Provide ongoing support to field supervisors to ensure alignment between project plans and on-site execution
- Absorb and manage the project lien process by documenting deficiencies, submitting notifications, and preserving company rights through proper claims management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or 36 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, construction drawings, and specifications
- Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
- Confident in presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and public groups
- Experienced in interpreting instructions delivered in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule formats
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and various project management, estimating, financial, and labor tracking software

Pay
$140,000-$180,000/year (Salary DOE, Exempt)
