About the role

Manages and executes strategic initiatives. Conducts observations, develops actionable plans, and implements viable solutions to problems identified. Handles change management concerns and addresses political issues that may interfere with projects. Works closely with finance to develop Business Model Calculations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate documentation and status of project timeline and keeps team stakeholders and executive leadership informed of project status.
  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings and discussions to address roadblocks and ensure critical milestones and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
  • Travels between local locations as required for meetings and observations.
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple competing projects, deadlines, and customer relationships.
  • Manages project costs and schedule, and alerts stakeholders to deviations in budget/schedule and resulting potential impact.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding and application of project management tools & methodologies, including data collection/analysis tools [Required]
  • Well-versed in risk management, budget & resource planning, project documentation, and schedule tracking [Required]
  • Proficient in process improvement, change management concepts, IT project management methodologies including PMI, PMBOK, and Agile [Required]
  • Able to succinctly translate high level concepts into actionable items and conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical controls with guidance [Required]
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and negotiation skills – able to present ideas formally and informally [Required]
  • Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills [Required]
  • Able to lead a project independently under limited direction and manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork [Required]
  • Able to transfer clients’ perceptions of problems into viable solutions, utilizing diplomacy skills and flexibility in response to changing concerns [Required]
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment [Required]
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project), Office 365 Suite, and familiarity with MS Visio, Analytical & Data Visualization Software (Minitab, Tableau, etc.) [Required]
  • Proficient with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Online or Jira [Preferred]

Skills

  • Field of study not specified [Required]
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment [Required]
  • Process improvement experience [Preferred]

$68,217.53 - $126,889.48
