Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients.
- Identify client needs and expectations, including upcoming major projects, and communicate these to relevant individuals.
- Communicate client feedback regarding work performance and facilitate process improvements.
- Address and resolve issues related to project scope changes, quality of services, cost, or schedule.
- Coordinate and participate in the preparation of proposals for client work.
- Maintain oversight of all ongoing projects, including monitoring budget, schedule, scope changes, and deliverables.
- Ensure contractual requirements are met, address and resolve contractual issues, initiate contract changes, and facilitate payment for services.
- Review, approve, and correct invoices related to project work.
- Understand and communicate client's processes and procedures to company staff, facilitating training when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: BS in engineering or other technical specialty from an accredited university with coursework in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar technical scope. MS in engineering or other technical specialty desired.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience with design engineering, project management, and client relations. Experience with operating plant procedures, processes, budget analysis, and budget forecasting required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office software, effective time management, knowledge of project scheduling techniques, ability to manage, motivate, and organize team members, and ability to pass security and drug screening.
- Certifications: Professional Engineering registration (EIT or PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
